Internet and ICT Components between
Europe and Latin America

Silvia Bidart, general director of ALETI, announced the first national event of First Project. The workshop will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 20th, with the participation of Minister of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation, Mr. Lino Barañao, as well as other relevant representatives of the Industry, the Academy and the European Commission.
The goal of the event is bringing to Argentina ICT industrial, public and academic sectors, a general presentation of the project, its objectives and the benefits that Technology Platforms might suppose for Latin American researchers, as an efficient way for strengthening the cooperation with European researchers through FP7 and other cooperative programmes. It also aims at setting the strategies and further steps for the project at the national level.
