The networking opportunity for European ICT research & development
ICT Proposer’s Day 2011 is a two day event featuring networking and partnership building for Calls 8 and 9 of the Seventh Framework Program of the European Commission (FP7), offering more than one billion euro of EU funding. The event will provide academia, business sectors and government actors from all over Europe a platform for building partnerships and exchange ideas for participating in calls for proposals. More than 2000 stakeholders interested in topics of ICT research and around 100 Commission Officials are expected to attend.
Thematic sessions on the Work Programme 2011-2012 on ICT research, presentations of proposal ideas by proposers, meeting points animated by Commission officials and information stands will help you to connect with the right partner to obtain EU funding. Additionally the newly opened on-line networking features of the ICT Proposers’ Day 2011 website will help you to meet virtually your future project partners from all over Europe, arrange meetings, share ideas and couple up to apply for EU support. The next steps will be defining a Common Strategic Research Agenda and a Common Roadmap of implementation.
The event will take place on 19-20 May 2011 in Budapest hosted by the Hungarian Presidency of the European Union.
