Implementing cooperation on Future
Internet and ICT Components between
Europe and Latin America
Manuel Martinez, Chief Executive Officer of CINTEL, announced the first national event of First Project. The workshop will be held in Bogotá, Colombia, on May 13th, and will count with the participation of COLCIENCIAS – Colombian Administrative Department of Science, Technology and Innovation.
Colombian first national event is aimed primarily to introduce European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme – FP7 in the ICT field, to present the concept of Technology Platforms and to inform the most representative Colombian R&D entities about the benefits and opportunities of Technology Platforms. It also aims at providing the attendees an open space to present their ideas on Colombian R&D cooperation in the field of Future Internet, ICT components and systems.
