Internet and ICT Components between
Europe and Latin America
ALETI, the PLATA Secretariat, has met his new Executive Director
Buenos Aires, July 2011: From March 2011, Sadosky foundation has a new Director: Mr. Santiago Ceria, a professional with a mixed experience in the Academia and in the Industry R&D field. Mr. Ceria received the Argentine FIRST project team on June 21th and seemed to be very interested in the technology platform tool.
The foundation is a private-public institution which goal is to foster the articulation between the scientific-technologic system and the productive structure of the ICT field in Argentina. Its president is the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation. The former vicepresidents are the presidents of the most important ICT chambers of Argentina: CESSI (Cámara de Empresas de Software y Servicios Informáticos) y CICOMRA (Cámara de Informática y Comunicaciones de la República Argentina). From April of the current year the foundation counts with an executive structure oriented to implement different programs in order to encourage this articulation.
